Job Responsibilities

  • Provide armed security services to protect personnel, property, and assets at assigned locations.
  • Patrol designated areas on foot or in a vehicle, maintaining a visible security presence.
  • Monitor surveillance equipment, alarms, and access control systems to detect and respond to incidents.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of visitors, employees, and deliveries to enforce security protocols.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, including disturbances, unauthorized entries, and medical incidents.
  • Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency responders as needed.
  • Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements while maintaining professionalism.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to employees and visitors, ensuring a safe and secure environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid state security guard license with authorization to carry a firearm.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required state or federal background checks.
  • Strong observational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physical fitness to perform patrol duties, stand for extended periods, and manage emergency situations.
  • Professional demeanor with a commitment to upholding ethical standards.

Desired Experience

  • Up to 2 years of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in high‑traffic or critical infrastructure environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with security technology such as CCTV, alarm systems, and access control devices.

Salary & Benefits

  • $33 per hour (USD).
